Envisioning Information - Workshop at Royal Institute of Art (Kungl. Konsthögskolan) in Stockholm - November 8-12

The purpose of the workshop is to learn methods for visualizing statistical data and information and utilise those methods to describe new ideas. The goal is to develop and strengthen student’s tools of communication in order to become more lucid and communicative for a larger audience.

Communication today has developed, especially for architects, out of the digital tools presented. Although these tools offer complex and sophisticated possibilities the tendency is rather that projects become over-simplified, instead of more subtle and nuanced in their expression. The hypothesis is that instead of flattening an idea, we can develop our methods of communication, and thereby become more clear and understandable without losing complexity
