In 2009, Estonian Academy of Arts is still the only institution in Estonia offering education at university level in the fields of fine arts, design, architecture, conservation and art history in Estonia.
The objective of the Estonian Academy of Arts is to provide art education at the bachelor, masters and doctoral level and to ensure the preservation, continuation and value of art and culture in studies as well as in research. Estonian Academy of Arts comprises of four faculties: Fine Arts-, Design-, Architecture- and Art & Culture.
The Estonian Academy of Art is an inspiring environment, open to new, rising and creative ideas, and the academy has an essential role on an international level as a professional developer and distributor of arts and culture of Estonia

Degrees:
Bachelor’s programme | 3 years |180 ECTS*
Master’s programme | 2 years | 120 ECTS
Doctorate programme | 4 years | 240 ECTS

All curricula of the Academy are accredited and approved by the international expert commission.

Autumn semester: September – December
Spring semester: January – May

ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) makes study programmes easy to read and compare for all students and facilitates mobility and academic recognition based on the principle that 60 credits measure the workload of a full-time student during one academic year
